Is to prescreen, reference check (if applicable) and to discuss specific company requirements with our candidates to determine their interest/qualifications prior to contacting companies. This avoids duplicationand minimizes scheduling problems should companies request interviews. It eliminates a source of confusion among companies utilizing multiple agencies that may try to send the same candidate.

Stan Durbas, prior to starting Data Careers in 1988, was Mgr. of IT recruiting for an international financial/IT personel firm for many years serving Ct. and national companies. His prior 11 years was with IBM, assuming account marketing resonsibilities for two major Hartford based insurance companies including the installation of national on-line person lines systems. He was also a project manager for IBM in New York, developing enginering, manufacturing and NASA software. Stan began his career at Travelers Ins. Co. in the life actuarial I.T. dept. He also taught at the University of Hartford IT dept. as well as Uconn's Middle East management seminars for computer services/organization. He lectured on career opportunities at professional organizations and colleges. Stan has a BS and participated in the MBA program at the University of Connecticut.
